Please look up "beknighted" in the Oxford English Dictionary and tell

the word is not in one's Longman! Situation, perhaps you try to
understand her background. Of course - contrary to you - I am in, i.e.
born with information, that have been developped. A brother of one's
great-grandmother was married to a sister of your Countess. (The later
second pcess Th...).

I've never had to ask for a translation from 'English'(???) to English
before... but can someone PLEASE translate that one for me? ;-)

Here you go:

"I don't understand the word "beknighted" [sic], although I did try looking it up in my dictionary. But that aside, you clearly are unfamiliar with the Countess of Hohenberg's circumstances. Fortunately I *am* familiar with her circumstances since she is (distantly) related to me through marriage; her sister, whose name I can't quite recall but which began Th[...], was married to my great great uncle."

Of course someone who regularly does cryptic crosswords could probably do a better translation! Incidentally, the mysterious word is actually spelled "benighted".

Do I win a prize? ;-)

address in header goes nowhere; replace "bottomless_pit" with "devnull"
