Well, that describes rather one trait of your own behaviour, since,
for example, you now claim to have discovered by yourself that the
Chronicon-Maius of Pseudo-Sphrantzès was a 16th century forgery, when
in fact you have learned that from me and strongly disputed it at the
time.

In only pointed there some of your indelicate manners, which hardly
gives you standing to sermon others: after all, you are the one who
had the nerves to lecture others on a book fundamental to an argument
about which you claimed authority, when you had obviously not read it!

This is *exactly* the answer I expected from you : blatantly
distorting facts to better suit your point of view. (As for indelicate
manners, do believe me, I learned that from you ; at the time, you not
only preferred but favoured them, so it was just a way to speak your
own language. As usual : what you give is what you get... )

As always, only general accusations and no specific answers on
specific points: always ready to accuse others to distort facts, but
never ready to actually face the facts. Your manners are not better
than your historical method.
