It's very simple. You send $20 to the Universal Life Church in Modesto,
California, and ask them to send you a certificate stating that you are
such with the clerical title of Archimandrite, of which few western
christians have a clue as to the meaning. Then you take it to the state
capital to get it apostilled. Then you take it to the turkish consulate
and get it translated and the translation certified and if possible
apostilled. So then you have a nice piece of paper certified by a "an
official of the turkish government" saying that you are the the "King of
Arms of the Imperial Byzantine House of Constantinople". Then you set up
a website where americans and germans can get themselves recognized as
Knights and counts for a fee ranging upwards of $500 and advertise in
the International Herald Tribune and other such seemingly respectable
newsmedia.
