Yes, I've had some astounding eating in Vietnamese restaurants in
London. Unfortunately, they have also learned the art of customer
disservice from the French too, right down to forgetting that they can
speak English if they don't want to serve you.
Bummer. Our Vietnamese restaurants here tend to have impersonal but very
efficient service, offset by them being very cheap. (Lots of post-war
emigration here from Vietnam.)
