I'm one of the very few. I had a short-list of cars I was interested
in, with a grid working out the costs of vehicle + options I was
interested in, fuel economy, range, and a "cost of a trip to New York
City" line to put 6.7 L/100km vs. 7.3 L/100km in perspective.
Then I went to the auto show and checked out the visibility around the
A pillar, accessibility of the controls, and checked out how hard it
was to change a headlamp bulb.
The lady at the Honda booth, when she saw me peering under the hood of
the Fit, knew exactly what I was up to based on where I was looking,
and showed which bit comes away to get at the bulbs.
And after all that, I got another Impreza.
