Yabbut, when Pterry wrote that line, it was a compliment to Scrumpy.

Strongbow is not Scrumpy. And "mainly apples" is not in this case a
compliment. Nor is it even accurate; Isn't Strongbow is basically a cider/
perry mix these days? ISTR reading that around here.
