Apparently[1] the main cause of power outages in Malawi is hippos
getting stuck in the hydroelectric intakes.
[1] "Apparently" being the keyword that identifies factoids as heard
from a man in the pub, 93.2% of which are complete bollocks, but in
this case the man in the pub was my university tutor and the course
was electrical engineering, so it may be slightly more reliable than
the average apparently. Apparently.
