See also the fuss on uk.rec.cycling and elsewhere at the moment. (In
brief: a local council in London are trying the experiment of allowing
cyclists to ride the wrong way along one-way streets.

There are many places in the Netherlands where this is already the case,
and presents no problems at all. However, where it is the case, it is
signposted. No sign, no going the wrong way.

This is, of course, entirely too sensible for the average English, let
alone Londoner, driver and/or cyclist (never mind mayor).
