I just say "I don't do Windows, never have. Don't know the first
thing about it".

And I don't. Because I got into Linux when Windows 3.11 was the
current version and because Linux was way better at doing BBS and net
things than Windows was I never bothered to try W95. Not a gamer, I
could write my essays in vi, why change?

By the time this WWW thing was starting to take off my work machine was
a DecStation running Ultrix so I had netscape, home was still text based.
A year or two on I acquired a pentium motherboard and so installed X
which was quite posh I thought especially once I'd got tips on
configuring fvwm.

At work now I use DeadRat for most things and Citrix where I have to
use GameOS apps.

So someone has GameOS I just shrug and say "I don't do windows. Can
install Linux if you like".
