Ah, yes. The TI AR7 chipset with the standard firmware. Much fun.
Zyxel 2602x-DnA models are what we support, where x is R/H/HW and n is 1
or 3. Which are indeed TI AR7.
I've switched my parents to an old modem that doesn't understand ADSL2,
can't do 8Mbps, etc, because it's more reliable on their line (8km of
rural wet string) than any of the fancy new ones.
8 km? I'm surprised it makes a connection at all. It's the sort of line
ReADSL2 seems made for, although getting there reliably is a bit of a
pain.
