No, not really AIUI they were just complaining that the laws of physics
made the blips sound at the wrong time, thus impugning the BBC's
reputation for accuracy. They didn't demand that C be increased for
Auntie; IIRC one suggestion was to, if it couldn't be remedied, leave
them out altogether for the channels with the problem. Which is
unusually reasonable, for that lot.
