My current place doesn't allow carry-over, so I tend just not to work in
December.
Intriguing. Every December I get carpeted and asked to explain why I
have $BIGNUM leave + one more years worth of annual accrual accrued
since the last time (last December) we had this discussion.
I supposed that, at some point, I ought to take some time off.
Start taking every Monday or Friday off until you've used up all your time.
Then continue to see if they notice or just keep approving the day off.
A previous employer failed to record something like 180 days of comp
time as taken, so that when I got transferred to WeBuildHighways, the
180 days came with me as accrued vacation. It was _nice_ while it
lasted.
I can't take Fridays off without it being noticed: Fridays (and the
last workday of every month) are time*** days.
