Psst! There's acrylic mirror for issues such as this.

The trick is getting it to bond evenly to something to give it enough
stiffness; acrylic on its own will sag in the middle. Which might be
OK if you want TTTSNBN in a funhouse, but wasn't the effect I was
going for. I mean people I know.
