No need. Votes are cast using government-supplied pencils.
Postal votes, of course, aren't. I'm reminded of a ballot I once saw
that was covered in Tippex, as a result. Now, I'm 99% sure the
returning officer made the right decision in the situation (count it as
it was written, much like you would for anything that had been scribbled
out to make a new choice), but it provides the potential for much
mayhem.
