Competence or work ethics are strictly optional.
Fortunately, thanks to economic migration from Eastern Europe bringing some
much-needed competition, the quality of tradesmen has improved. When looking
in the phone book for a builder, you can't go wrong with the one that scores
over 300 points in Scrabble.
