Wow. I'd thought most organisations would take that as a sign to file his CV
in the round filing cabinet at stage one of the selection process.

OTOH, I've experience of management types who have gone
from job to job, utterly screwing up and fscking their previous
employer without it appearing to harm their career tradjectory at all.
In fact, one suspects that they're given glowing praise and payoffs just
the get them the hell away from here before the lawsuits start. In my
case, legal action didn't ensue - but it did at victim.ac.uk[-1].
Victim.ie[+1] has, I believe, since shutdown completely. Not that we're
surprised after fsckwit ended up managing them.

They have already decided that nobody _inside_ is qualified.

And that's such a good way to motivate the peons, isn't it? I know it
must be true in some cases, but I've got colleagues who've gone for
their bosses job, in their own department which they're qualified for,
but haven't even been afforded the courtesy of a completely bogus
interview.
