Spectacular special effects.

Same here in Montreal last week. And I'm doubly impressed after living in
Oregon for six years. Portland has plenty of rain, but precious little
thunder and lightning.

Just got to Montreal a couple weeks ago, and not only is the lightning
impressive and the French dumped to buffer too quickly to process, but I'm
kinda living out of boxes until Ye Olde Moving Vanne arrives (remind me to
ping $MOVING_COMPANY about that).

So the show is going on outside, and I'm grooving on the flashbang, and
suddenly the thought goes through my head, "Did I close the window with
the shelf ledge with the router and WAP on it?"

And yes, yes I did. Sorry, no schadenfreude tales about *my* stuff burning
to the ground. This time.
