Shirley knott. IMHO the killer scene is the one in the Council of
Counts. For that matter, there's an earlier killer[1] scene there in
Warrior's Apprentice[2]. Several other characters in ACC also put on
stellar performances, including Ekaterin, Gregor and Nikki. I'm trying
to avoid spoilers, so all that I'll add is read it.

MMV. IMHO the killer scene in ACC is the dinner party. I tried to read
it to Melody, and wound up, after several attempts, forcing myself to
read it in a flat monotone with no expression and no characterization.
