Oh, yes, indeed. _Lovely_ tubes, but _nasty_, _NASTY_ cooling stuff if
you scratch or scrape it, or even think about scratching or scraping
it. But I'll bet they're BeO2, rather than pure Be. That makes it a
tiny bit less nasty, but it's still like having Gollum in your gear,
waiting for you to make even the tiniest of mistakes.
Bah. Back before people got so paranoid, I used Be-Ox heatsink grease
&/or washers on everythign I built that needed a heatsink. While I did
try hard to follow the rules about handling the stuff, I did get
exposed to it fairly regularly. If it's as nasty as it's claimed to
be, it's taking it's own sweet time creeping up on me.
