Was it asking "PC LOAD RODENT"?
Cue the story about sending the PCL to put "PLEASE INSERT 10p" on its

Hmm - we looked at installing a coin-eating machine so the under and
post-lusers could waste paper^H^Hprint without having plan ahead
enough to remember to bring a cheque book with them. Unfortunately it
appears to cost £SillyNumber and so was a no-no.

noise and is probably about to grind to a halt in any case.
The academics, of course, get free printing
Free, as in the students are subsidising them. Which I feel is
grossly unfair. The academics pretend not to comprehend any sort of
problem with this situation.
Someone once said TANSTAAFL. Which in the case of academics appears to
not be the case - they know -hundreds- of ways.
