Nah, buildings are tougher than ordnance guys really like to admit

The Military Channel[1][3] showed the operation to capture/kill
Hussein's sons. They were in a building with nice thick stone walls, and
50mm fire and whatever else the Bradleys had didn't make any sort of a
dent at all. It was a "quick! haul ass over there in some Bradleys and
surround the place so they don't escape!" sort of plan, I think.

They had to call in folks with TOW missiles and Apaches with Hellfires
before any major damage was done. It was amazing to see the amount of
smack that building took.

When idf.il gets in that situation they dispense with the
rapid combustibles and call in ordinary construction equipment to
demolish the house.

Works like a charm, too. One minute the luser is playing dead,
and the next he's out the door in his #2 soiled underwear.
Something very unpleasant about the house you're hiding in being
shaken to pieces without any ordnance doing the job.

Too bad you can't call in bulldozers from Diego Garcia.
