You people in San Diego. Another friend of mine who lives there was
apologizing for the weather when I was there a few years ago.
"Sorry it's so cold," he said.
I replied "What the hell are you complaining about? It's 65 degrees[1]
and not raining. This is great weather!"
I see the forecast predicts about that kind of weather for next week
while I'm down there. You people are totally spoiled.
By comparison right now in Eugene it's about 40 degrees F (4 C) and
raining. I am actually glad because it's contributing to the mountain
snowpack I expect to be skiing on soon.
[1] F, or 18 C.
[2] In full-body wet suits year-round, since there's a cold current off
our coast.
