I was window-shopping in Oddbins Manchester, when the guy behind the
counter saw I was visibly drooling at some of the scotch. Before I
knew it, out came a bottle and glass from under the counter, and I was
poured a measure that wasn't nearly large enough, so I had to buy a
bottle.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh,
I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go
nearly as well with pizza.
