Having been both a sysadmin and a "Sbeq Pregvsvrq Freivpr Grpuavpvna", I
can verify that claim. More than once, a complaint was fixed by
updating the code in the brainbox, which could take anywhere from 2
minutes, to 20 minutes, depending on what needed updated. The 20 minute
ones were usually to program a new PATS key into the system. 10 minutes
to gain 'security access' to the system, which was mainly to prevent a
car thief from doing an update on the computer to steal the car.
Same lusers, same headaches, same PHBs in both places. You just stay
cleaner as a sysadmin.
