Definitely. The firetrucks we had when I did $UNARMED_CONSCRIPT_SERVICE
did this. Heater, charger, and a warm-up run every morning; which was
also useful to establish the ability of getting up to a set speed (70
km/h? ) under a set time. If the trucks did not pass, the airport was
closed. So every morning it was floor-it competition down the runway.
