I twice broke the bone just below the shoulder, high enough up that a cast
was not an option. The second time round, the bones were moved against
eachother, and the doctors decided it would probably be all right if I
wore a cast around my elbow with a large lump of plaster|lead added for
weight. After several weeks of treatment by these fucktards, my arm had
started healing crooked, and at the new hospital they ended up having to
put me under full narcosis in order to break it *again* and set it
properly.
I have a deep and abiding hatred for the first hospital, actually, why do
you ask? (*simultaneously* they also managed to completely mishandle the
treatment for a broken bone of my mother's, incidentally).
