but the short of it is that the dirt blown sky-high by the explosion
buried the railroad tracks sufficiently to cancel the train Connor
was supposed to be on today (along with his mother and sister) for
a five-hour ride. He was crushed, and only the news that I was able
to exchange the tickets for tomorrow (Friday) kept him from curling
into a fetal position, similar to one I normally achieve when trying
to mount a TK50. We'll see if they honor their promise to have the
eastbound Zephyr running . . .
