Repair

My Latitude laptop came back for the third time from the repair depot
(hard problem - memory errors every few months, fails diagnostics for
about a day, then fine again. Developed newly a display flicker).

Opening the box, I have the feeling it's fixed.

Checked off is new LCD cover, new LCD panel, new memory, new motherboard.

That about covers the possibilities.
