for the
motherboard?
I went into BIOS turned the on board audio setting off,
went to Windows with the Soundblaster in Device manager enabled but
I could not hear any sound.
Then, I went into BIOS turned the on board audio setting on(ENABLED
it),
went to Windows, disabled the Soundblaster audio card in Device
manager and
I could hear sound. It makes me suspect my sound card could be
faulty.
Thanks to you and all who replied with useful suggestions. My issue is
solved.
Thanks again.
If that does not work,.
remove the Sound Blaster, enable the on-board audio, download and
install the ADI SoundMax audio drivers on the Dell web site... Ben Myers
