Check the stats! IE6 was the most used browser out there (31%)

On the other side of that coin 70% or so AREN'T using it.

And 80% are not using Firefox. Imagine that?

I like fast and non-memory leaking browsers. Which leaves out IE7,
IE8, and Firefox. Why? Do you like the opposite?

Firefox is very fast for me even with 15 sites open so I don't know
what you're referring to unless that little ol' netbook of yours is so
underpowered it can't handle it. :)

Firefox needs lots of RAM. Nice you have enough to support it. Although
Firefox also needed the fastest and beefiest systems out there to work
even close to the smallest systems out there running something else. No
news there. Some people like bloated software like you Bob! As it means
job security for people like you, right Bob?

No Firefox, that would have never happened, now would it?

Not real good troubleshooting, IMO. But okay.

Basic troubleshooting 101 Bob! If a product hijacks your system it is a
bad program. Use add/remove and the problem goes away then you are done.
It is that simple Bob!

Updated IE6 Bob. I know of nobody using the original IE6. Okay maybe
one out of a million are still using the original, but 999,999 are
not.
This machine is only a year old. IE6 has received many updates and
patches over those many years. Nothing much like the original v6.0
at all. And this machine came with IE6 just last year. So it isn't
anything like you make it out to be.

Yes it is, from a designer's point of view. It's complete and total
crap. Non-compliance with web standards is what IE6 is all about.

I personally don't care about web standards by a group who out of the
blue made themselves dictators. I challenged their knowledge and they
had refused a debate. So anybody who makes themselves dictators and
doesn't get the support they want is no loss by me or by the masses. So
when are you going to learn this? Or are you going to your grave
believing otherwise?

Millions of netbooks sold in the last year has IE6. I haven't met
somebody so out of touch in years. Welcome to the 21st Century, Bob!
<grin>

Like I said, I don't really care what anyone else is using. I know
that the majority of users AREN'T using IE6. I design for the
70-something percent (and growing) of users that are using standards
compliant browsers. I don't do anything intentional to break sites,
but IE 6 is so bug ridden that I simply can't guarantee my sites will
work properly.
Bob

Nobody cares what you guarantee or not Bob. After all, you support
Firefox which is at 20% (at best) and IE6 which is at 31%. That means
you can't even do simple math. So you can't be too bright Bob. So what
does it matter what you think? I mean really?
