Great, got it - I had the proper cable, connected it and the USB Ports
on the monitor works great!

In order to use the "downstream" USB ports, you must first connect the
"upstream" USB port on the the monitor to a USB port on your computer.

A quick question on the USB ports on the 1901FP Monitor. I have it
connected and functioning well with my Desktop, but I cannot seem to
use the USB Ports on the Monitor. If I insert a USB device, not
action!
Of course, I have the power connected and the Desktop connection
between the monitor and the desktop. Is there something else I have
to do to activate the USB Ports on the monitor for use? There are 2
Ports.
