1. Try to remove the malware.

2. Start over with the OS. I have read that removing most malware is
hit or miss and you can never be too sure. You may want to reinstall
the OS and apps. If you do that do all your Windows updates and
install your standard apps. I would install my major ones and maybe
not the 30 misc small apps that I like but could live without. Backup
(Image) the hard drive to something like Acronis. Some people
recommend reinstalling the OS every year, some people do it every 6
months. After backed up I would reinstall the misc apps you did not
install previously.
