If I don't get this fixed quickly I'm in big trouble--you can't
imagine how pissed my wife gets when I "borrow" a piece of her working
computer to "fix" my busted one!

(I finally did get the monitor turned on by repeated wiggly presses of
the button, but it's still stuck.)
