Dell DC Power Plug

I have a question. Is there any place that sells replacement barrels for
Dell Laptop power adapters. The center pin in mine broke off, and I wanted
to try to fix it before purchasing another one (or just to use this one as a
backup). I have a Inspiron 630m, with dimensions 7.5x5.5.12.5mm. I know
this is the reason cause I get the message "invalid power adapter" when
trying to boot up, which never occurred before this adapter being broken.
Also, is there a setting somewhere to continue to use the adapter without
the pin, as I read that the pin only communicates the adapter info to the
laptop. Thanks in advance.
