though it is promoted as a safer web browser, i think the real agenda that
microsoft has here is to try to hurt google. google is their biggest threat
right now and they don't seem to be able to do anything right to compete
with them... so low and behind they cough up a new browser that has a
anonymous surfing feature that is becoming known as 'porn mode'. with porn
mode enabled, google can't take advantage of cookies or surfing history to
direct targeted advertisements to the user. microsoft is probably hoping
that this will impact their bottom line.

Some of that will be a non-issue. With Vista, Windows Update is standalone
part of the O/S.
