Which "same part every time"? Can you describe or maybe provide an error
message?

It get s to the part of the windows installation about 6 mins to
completion, so theres no error code. I've tried XP media edition, i've
tried XP Pro, I've even tried Vista and none of them can complete the
install. I thought perhaps overheating, but then again if that was the case
then it wouldn't be the same place on the install when doing it immediatly
after a failed install as the CPU/ Graphics card would already be hot and
the heat wouldnt have had time to dissipate.

You can install Ubunto and run it and it's a stable as anything, so my best
guesse is the graphics card which is a 512mb one as I would think that the
unbunto would not have native drivers for it so is therefore not running it
at full speed. but there again XP doesn't have native drivers, so i'm back
to pulling out my hair.
