Just picked up a faulty XPS M1710 so its got a 512mb pci express nvidea
graphics card, 2.3Ghz dual core CPU 2 gb ram , and the problem is cannot
install windows, get to the same part every time and then just reboots.
I've tried putting a different hard drive from another machine preloaded
with Vista and that gets to progress bar and then reboots. I've tried a
different HD, no fix,
tried different known good memory - no fix
Tried known good CPU - no fix,
so I guesse that just leaves the M/B or Graphics card unlesss I've missed
something glaringly stupid
