I read this here:

Some users may balk at a feature in XP SP3 that prevents them from
downgrading their browser from Internet Explorer 7 to the older IE 6 once
the service pack has been installed.

I'm running a fresh reinstall of XPHome with SP2 IE6 (and Firefox 3, which
I like much better). Will SP3 install IE7, and prevent me from going back
to IE6? Or, does the statement mean that if I already have IE7 installed
(I don't), then I will not be able to go back to IE6?

Thanks.

No. I'm running WinXP Pro SP3 and IE6. ;-)

I've not attempting installing IE7 and going back, however.
