Just to let you know guys I am still using my Dimension 4600 with Windows
Vista Home. Had deferred the plan to get new Dell Quad as my Dim4600 is
still o.k, boasted its memory to 2.5Gb & 400Gb HD, running acceptably fast,
do some numbers crunching (excell, mathematica) & some video encoding (this
thing took 1 hr DVD/Mpeg quality).
Just got surpluss Dell Poweredge 2600 & poweredge 1600sc from office,
installed W2003, could not ask for more.
I am a happy man !

supply - runs great. I really wish I hadn't wasted my $$ on Vista though
and stayed with XP instead.
My sister's pc is a free Lenovo through Telus High Speed with Vista
Basic and it runs like crap right from new. Going to wipe it clean and
put XP on it.
