AVG 7.5 is still taking daily updates on 6/27, two

My own plan is to simply stop checking for updates
when there aren't any more. It's never found a
single virus for me, so evidently I have benign
surfing habits in any case.
Hi Ron -- I am using Kaspersky and really like it. It's not free, but
the $80 price is licensed for 3 PCs, so for me at least it's a good
deal when I consider that.
One of the biggest concerns I have is a Trojan that sends data from my
PC out, or something that gives someone else access to my files. I
guess Windows Firewall can parially help with that.
Otherwise, you could go with Avast for anti-virus and Zone Alarm for a
firewall, plus some kind of freeware spyware protection.
Hope you find a good solution!
