The Land O' Lakes is not the only state with lakes. And swamps named as lakes.
When we were looking at houses prior to moving to Minnesota many years ago, we
were shown "lakefront" properties that were better characterized as swampfront.
I'm not picking on Minnesota, per se. I am picking on realtors, who can hype
with the best of them. We left the land of Nokomis long ago and have lived in
other interesting places since... Ben Myers
