the ac adapter will work with 220v but you will need a plug adapter to
enable it to plug into a wall outlet.
radioshack is a good place to get these things. below is a like with a
picture that should help.
'wifi' (local proximity) wireless networking works just like it does here as
does wired networking.
telephone connectors are very different and if you intend to use the modem
then you need to get a couple of adapters to cover your bases.
this is a nice simplified guide

(the pre-paid card they are talking about to connect to the internet is for
dial up modem type connections).
this is the whole story, plugs type c, d, e, and f in this diagram exist in
greece, though type c is likely all that you will need.

Hi All,
Been away from the group for a while, good to see all the regulars still
helping out. Anyway, my niece is going to Greece to study for the summer
and I want to get the correct electric adapter(s) for her new Vostro 1500
laptop. Looks like the power brick should handle the voltage 90-264 VAC.
So would all she needs to charge the laptop be a power outlet converter
tip? Any suggested brands appreciated.
How about ethernet and/or wireless internet connections? Anything special
needed?
Thanks as usual,
Pat Conover
