laptop mobo to be replaced - again!

The on-going saga of my new XPS M1330 continues:
Now the eSATA expresscard won't latch. I tried its
latching function when I first got the laptop, and it
would push in and latch, and a second push would
unlatch it. Then Dell replaced the motheboard and CPU
in what was a bad diagnosis, since it was the AC adaptor
which had caused the shutdown of the PC, not overheating
and chips frying.
Now, the telephone diagnosis is again the motherboard
because the expresscard cage is part of the motherboard.
After the technician had left the 2nd time, I wrung the PC
out with several hours of utility tests, but I didn't think to
test the physical functioning of the expresscard slot. So
Dell is sending out the technician a 3rd time, this time to
replace the motherboard - again. What I've heard about
laptops seems to be holding up: Once you open up a
laptop, it will never be the same.
