there is a difference in length between a sata and ide drive.

Hi,

I just tried fitting a Sony OEM DVD Writer into my Dimension 9100, but after I had I couldn't fit the Dimension's front fascia back on. The drive is slightly too big for the fascia.

Can anybody tell me which the correct DVD-RW drive is for the Dimension 9100?

Shouldn't all drives fit? Surely they're industry standard sized?
