The outside "show lights" on my Dell XPS have changed from red to blue.
So now my machine has a blue tint. Does this mean anything significant??
Or is this just eye candy?

They're programmable I believe, probably from the system BIOS or
software. Look up the manual for your particular XPS model here:

You're completely correct. There is a utility to set them. Sorry for the
dumb question. I wanted a high performance machine and I got one. Now I
have to learn the bells and whistles.
