One small note - things fail, like hard drives, the electronics on
them etc. and if this happened, you would lose it completely anyway.
You'd have no choice if this happened.

You do have backups of the *important* data, don't you ?

Yes, my data is safe.
But I don't like a program that fails. How do you reinstall a system program?? It was easy in XP. You just uninstalled it, then reinstalled it from the disk.
