Is this normal? I have a very fast system. I had to do a system restore, and
it took several minutes to come up! If not normal, can I reinstall JUST
system restore. There is no way I'm wiping my HD!

I don't need to use it often, but IIRC it can take a while.

Do you mean for the initial dialogue box to appear before you even try
doing a restore ?

Exactly. It takes minutes for the initial dialogue box to appear. Something is wrong.
