Since the MBR is involved in loading an OS, not starting it, I think all
the virtual machine apps treat the MBR the same way, and the Virtual PC
NG would actually be of help. Even a Linux NG might help if you posed
the question as if it involved a Linux virtual machine. I suspect that the
concept of an MBR is only known to the real hardware and not the virtual
hardware.
