As far as DSL where I live.... so far, my initial impression of DSL is
good. My daughter and I think we will like it better than cablemodem
but time will tell. Seems like less latency and slightly faster but
I'll be happy if it's the same speed and more reliable. Internet in
my house is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury as each year
goes by.
Question: Does DSL ever go down and if so, does it go down while the
phone is up or do both go down together? I don't recall my landline
ever going down in my present home (not a big deal tho nowadays since
having a cell phone).
