lease and 12 page addendum this weekend for my daughter in Austin (she
wants to move from dorm to apartment).

Boy are you lucky not to have kids (my wife and other mothers will
"hate" me for this). Ok, my daughters are good but they don't come
cheap especially with 2 in college at the same time and likely to go
to graduate school besides the time/responsibility.

On the bright side, fellowship money is not based on, so if they're good students they might be able to come up with most, if not all, the $$$ for grad school (as my son did when he went to CalTech to study astronomy - he was a *very* good student <g>). FWIW, both my kids are in their 30's now, married and each has a child - so I have a granddaughter, 3 1/2, and a grandson, 2, unbelievably terrific!
